The workshop starts with an overview of the thematic focus:
- Scope of application (definitions)
- Labelling, advertising and misleading
- and shows you current developments in administrative practice and case law.
Recent changes in tobacco tax law are explained.
Using case studies from practice - e.g. use of flavourings, advertising - advice is given on the correct behaviour in the event of complaints.
Finally, there is an outlook on emerging developments, such as possible consequences from the Commission's report on the Tobacco Products Directive 2014/40/EU, which was published in May 2021.
The workshop should above all offer participants the opportunity to actively contribute with their questions and concerns.
