Online Seminar: “PPWR: Manufacturer Liability in Cross-Border Situations”
The PPWR has brought about significant changes for cross-border shipments of packaging. Anyone making their first supply in a member state where they do not have an established presence must appoint an authorized representative there. At the same time, the so-called “domestic priority” principle shifts the obligations to the recipient in the destination country. Among other things, we clarify: Who is considered the manufacturer in the destination country, and how does the domestic priority principle work? Who needs an authorized representative, and who does not? Which obligations does the authorized representative assume, and which remain your responsibility?
