Online Seminar: “The New Packaging Labeling Requirements Under the PPWR”
There’s currently a lot of confusion surrounding labeling. Starting August 12, 2026, information about the manufacturer and type designation will be mandatory. The harmonized material label, however, will take effect no earlier than August 12, 2028. Anyone who doesn’t design their layouts with foresight today may end up having to print them twice. We’ll discuss which packaging must be labeled, when, and how, and address many specific questions (What can be included in QR codes? What can be included in accompanying documents? What are the rules for the Green Dot? Are national material codes and sorting instructions permitted?)
