Water is not only a food ingredient, but also an essential substance for the production and (in particular hygiene-related) treatment of food. In addition to drinking water, for which the legislator has defined special production regulations, it has also created comprehensive regulations for different categories of water, namely for natural mineral water, spring water and table water. This event will explain the specific legal principles and production regulations, as well as the labeling requirements and advertising options.
