The new BAFA questionnaire on the Supply Chain Act

The linchpin of the Supply Chain Act (LkSG) is the annual human rights report. In the future, affected companies will have to submit this report regularly to the German Federal Office of Economics and Export Control (BAFA). BAFA examines these reports and, if necessary, takes them as grounds for further investigations and sanctions. For the companies, it is important to comply as fully as possible with BAFA's requirements for the presentation of reports. There has been a great deal of uncertainty here to date.

Now BAFA has finally presented its long-awaited handout on the reporting obligation. It is essentially a structured list of questions: In the future, the human rights report is to be generated automatically from the answers to this list of questions.

A standard procedure in the broad field of human rights compliance? Can that work?

Our speaker Dr. Stephan Schäfer has analyzed the catalog for practicality. In this webinar, you will learn how to deal with the content requirements of the question catalog and what you will have to prepare for in the future as a directly affected company but also as a supplier.
